As I thought, they deleted the pages that show they have housing on their website. And edited the ‘careandsupport’ page to remove references too. So they definitely have the ability to edit their website, but not tell the truth of the situation.
It has all been archived anyway, and not just by me – because one source of information could be easily dismissed. “Oh she’s just a disgruntled former client” but it can’t be dismissed when there are multiple independent, attestable copies.
I really question how much of what they do is legal, it certainly doesn’t seem it.
The Date
As an aside, they still haven’t updated their copyright date, despite actively now making changes to their site.
Also, have you noticed when using any of their type forms, they ask you to type the date of submission? I mean… knowing what date and time it is by computers has been a solved thing since the invention of the web.
Heck, if you’re using PHP (or any other code based site generator), you can get the system to format the date in whatever format you want. It’s how I handle the copyright string on my sites, I ask the server what year it is, and put it in the page.
It’s not a difficult technical concept. You would hope a company worth over £3.2 million (built on the backs of people like me, and the hardworking but underappreciated support workers) would be able to maintain their digital systems with more competence.
Especially when their website footer used to have a placeholder for an ‘Accessibility‘ link (digging for this page, well the only text content for it ever was ‘Text’), which was removed sometime in the past year after never linking anywhere. Accessibility is an after thought for them. A company built on supporting disabled people. Maybe they don’t want the people they support to be able to read their website?
