They replied to my trustpilot review!

Talk about a non response. Focused entirely on the positive sentiment (they have, at least based on my experience, good support workers) and said “Where complaints or concerns are raised, we respond through the appropriate processes.” except, that’s not quite true is it? When I submitted a 17 page rebuttal to their complaint responses, I was promised a response by the Director of Operations “within a week”, and never got one. She asked for another week and I guess she hoped I’d forget about it.

The rebuttal in essence was simple. After going through the 2nd SAR response, It called out (mostly) the Registered Manager Jennifer’s practices, put in plain and unambiguous language that Jennifer had decided to remove some of my care without consultation because she had “low management hours”, that she expected a complaint based on her actions, that she massaged the timeline, the fact that operating Moorview with a single team leader being considered an emergency was a lie and the fact she told me a bunch of reasons why she did it that were not the actual reasons.

I called it out for what it all was, bull plop of the highest order. It stank. I never got a response. At this point I’m convinced the upper management are protecting their “investment” in Jennifer, because the pattern is clear. She’s a liar. She outright lied to my face.

And now Moorview have ruined the life I built for protecting that investment, and that makes the rest of them just as culpable. The LGO has it all. CQC will have it all when they want.

Oh, and they’re also looking for a new Registered Manager for the Hull region too, so Moorview must have watched that Titanic movie and thought ahh, Iceberg dead ahead, full throttle baby!

This will not beat me

I’ve come too far, done so much. Getting on the right meds definitely helped. I’m a different person than I was before. Something like this would have tore me down. Yes, it still hurts sometimes, deeply so, but the right meds take the edge off and I’m working on solving my problem.

If things had been different, Moorview and I could have done something amazing, but now I’m doing something amazing without them. I don’t think they were expecting me to react this way. I think they assumed I’d go quietly. I didn’t.

My main motivation now, is to be a voice for all those that may not have a voice. The things that happened to me, all the information I have published so far. Everything I’ve documented. My experience has power. My voice has power and I will be a voice for what I can only assume is worse things behind closed doors.

If they can remove my agency after I speak clearly, throw me away when I make them uncomfortable asking for real answers… I almost don’t want to know the skeletons they’ve got in the closet for how quick they were to get rid of me after I spoke to the CQC. Those are not the actions of those with a clear conscience and a pure heart.

My goal is just, my intentions honourable.

Moorview, be transparent. Be honest. Be the values you claim.

I’ll go the distance with my message and any that want to amplify it, to add to my voice are free to do so. To make the people who need support truly important, truly listened to and respected. We are more than money. We are more than an asset to be managed. We are people.

Sure, each of us has our own challenges and difficulties, but every one of us is worth the time and respect. This is bigger than me. I’m just the lynch pin – you’re the ones who can make a difference. 💝

“You have the weapons you need. Now fight!”

A Moment of Calm

And now for something totally different. Have some calming piano improv I recorded a little while ago, and enhance your calm 🙂

I’m on TrustPilot :)

My little reviewy-reviewington was published.

One thinks Moorview will be in full ‘suppress it’ / ‘deny it’ mode, like a game of BopIt.

I’m not asking anyone to blindly believe me, but you know what patterns I’ve identified so far. See if you can see them, and most importantly, watch your backs friends! They can be quite vindictive, as I learned from experience!

“What’s next for Jessica?” you might ask. Well. That would be telling, but I’m sure you’ll find out soon enough. 😈

Audio done, and a new article

Today I burned some compute cycles (and some brain cycles, because someone forgot to save the original text-to-speech pronunciations and the audacity project. 🙂‍↕️ I swear you can’t get the staff!) and have redone all the audio to match the currently live pages.

I’ve also done a new article, The Director of Operations. Hope you enjoy. 🥰

£8.7 million in fixed assets

The companies are quite tight lipped about how much they turnover (it’s missing from all their public documents), but they have ~£8.7 million in fixed assets (that’s things like houses and property) across the entire Moorview Care Group of companies. Including Supported Living PropCo Ltd, which has £4 million in assets, but only 2 employees?

And more evidence that they’re linked via persons of significant control. The organisations control parts of each other.

I’ve updated ‘The Spiders Web‘ with this information. I’ll re-do the audio versions.

It would be very nice if someone decided to send in a contract for one of their properties, say if you were a contractor or something for them. 😘

Not that I need this to make my point. I think I’ve proven it beyond a reasonable doubt with my own efforts. 💝

Dark mode!

If your browser/computer/phone is set to prefers dark mode, now the site will show in the dark theme. 💖

And I fixed the form. Not exactly sure how I broke it, but it’s fixed now. 🤣

Yup – They deleted the housing pages

As I thought, they deleted the pages that show they have housing on their website. And edited the ‘careandsupport’ page to remove references too. So they definitely have the ability to edit their website, but not tell the truth of the situation.

It has all been archived anyway, and not just by me – because one source of information could be easily dismissed. “Oh she’s just a disgruntled former client” but it can’t be dismissed when there are multiple independent, attestable copies.

I really question how much of what they do is legal, it certainly doesn’t seem it.

The Date

As an aside, they still haven’t updated their copyright date, despite actively now making changes to their site.

Also, have you noticed when using any of their type forms, they ask you to type the date of submission? I mean… knowing what date and time it is by computers has been a solved thing since the invention of the web.

Heck, if you’re using PHP (or any other code based site generator), you can get the system to format the date in whatever format you want. It’s how I handle the copyright string on my sites, I ask the server what year it is, and put it in the page.

It’s not a difficult technical concept. You would hope a company worth over £3.2 million (built on the backs of people like me, and the hardworking but underappreciated support workers) would be able to maintain their digital systems with more competence.

Especially when their website footer used to have a placeholder for an ‘Accessibility‘ link (digging for this page, well the only text content for it ever was ‘Text’), which was removed sometime in the past year after never linking anywhere. Accessibility is an after thought for them. A company built on supporting disabled people. Maybe they don’t want the people they support to be able to read their website?

Today’s Site Updates

A Couple Of Easy Listen/Read Versions

I’ve made a couple of easier versions of The Spider’s Web and The Staff Reviews. English was never my ‘strongest string to my bow’ so to speak, I only got a C in English in my GCSEs, but I thought a quicker/easier read version would be very useful for a whole bunch of people, even if they’re just like me with ADHD and want something that gets the salient (main) points across without reading or listening to too much.

I’m not sure I’ll do easy read versions of my stories, although I might define key terms to make them at least, more understandable.

Contact Form

If you’d like to get in touch or make a comment, a contact form has been launched (and the Privacy Policy updated to account for that).

With all that said, I hope you have the day you actually deserve. 💝
